The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) in the United Kingdom has published a formal warning regarding the trading firm VortexFX, operating via the website www.vortexfx.com. According to the regulator, this entity has been targeting UK residents and offering financial services without obtaining the required authorization. VortexFX operates online using the domain www.vortexfx.com and provides the contact email [email protected] alongside the phone number +17585725151. The entity also lists an address at 128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX, United Kingdom. The FCA cautions that unauthorized brokers often supply false or borrowed contact details, including postal addresses, to present an appearance of legitimacy. Under UK law, almost all firms and individuals offering, promoting, or facilitating financial services or products must be registered or authorized by the FCA. Because VortexFX is not authorized, clients who deposit funds with this entity will not have access to the Financial Ombudsman Service or the protection of the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS) in the event of a dispute or business failure. Traders and investors are strongly advised to avoid dealing with VortexFX and to check the official FCA Firm Checker before sending funds to any financial entity to ensure it holds genuine regulatory approval. Anyone who believes they have been targeted or approached by this unauthorized firm should contact the FCA directly.
