The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) in the United Kingdom has issued a public warning regarding TradeWell, an unauthorized entity operating without regulatory permission to offer or promote financial services. According to the FCA, TradeWell is actively targeting UK residents despite having no authorization or registration from the regulator. The entity operates online via the website https://tradewell.today and claims to be based in the United Kingdom. Regulators emphasize that almost all companies and individuals offering, promoting, or selling financial products or services in the UK must be authorized by the FCA. Unregulated platforms like TradeWell operate outside the law, posing significant financial risks to potential investors. Investors who engage with TradeWell will not have access to statutory consumer protections. This means clients are ineligible to submit complaints to the Financial Ombudsman Service or make claims through the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS) should the platform collapse or refuse withdrawals. The FCA advises investors to exercise extreme caution and verify any financial firm's authorization status using the official FCA Register before committing funds. Anyone who has interacted with TradeWell or suspects they have been targeted by an unauthorized firm should report the activity directly to the FCA.
