The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) in the United Kingdom has issued an official public warning regarding an entity operating under the name The FBA Investor, also identified on social channels as @thefbainvestor. According to the regulator, this entity has been offering or promoting financial services and products without the necessary regulatory authorization.
The unauthorized firm has been documented operating through the web link https://stan.store/TheFBAInvestor and may be actively targeting individuals located in the UK. Under UK law, virtually all individuals and firms providing, promoting, or arranging financial products and services must be registered or authorized by the FCA.
Engaging with unauthorized entities exposes consumers to severe financial risks. Dealing with The FBA Investor means individuals will not have access to the Financial Ombudsman Service to handle complaints. Furthermore, transactions will not be covered by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS), making it highly improbable that victims can recover their money if the entity shuts down or mismanages funds.
