The Financial Services and Markets Authority (FSMA) of Belgium has issued an official warning against Levels Socials, an entity providing investment services without the necessary authorization.
According to findings by the FSMA, Levels Socials operates as a fraudulent trading platform. Such platforms typically target investors online with promises of easy, fast profits. While the offers appear attractive, the regulator cautions that they are deceptive schemes that frequently cause significant financial harm to consumers.
The FSMA strongly advises the public not to engage with any investment offers made by Levels Socials and to avoid transferring funds to any bank account numbers linked to the entity. Levels Socials has consequently been placed on the regulator's list of fraudulent trading platforms.
For those who have already transferred funds or shared details with Levels Socials, the FSMA recommends taking immediate action:
- Cease all transactions immediately and refuse to provide further personal or financial information.
- Sever all contact with the operators to prevent ongoing manipulation.
- Inform your bank immediately regarding the payments made.
- File a formal complaint with the police and notify the FSMA.
- Collect and preserve all records, including emails, platform messages, transaction details, and screenshots.
The regulator also warns victims to stay alert for recovery room scams, in which fraudsters contact previous scam victims offering to retrieve lost funds for a fee, creating further financial loss.
