The Belgian Financial Services and Markets Authority (FSMA) has issued a fresh warning to the public regarding the persistent dangers posed by fraudulent online trading platforms. According to the financial watchdog, illicit trading websites continue to cause severe financial harm to retail investors by dangling promises of rapid, high-yield profits that mask sophisticated financial fraud schemes.
The regulatory alert identifies several deceptive recruitment websites operating as front funnels to lure unsuspecting consumers before routing them to illicit trading schemes. These lead-generation websites include Financourse (financourse.com), Investhub 3.0 (investhub30.com), and multiple domains using the Quantum AI branding (quantumaiplatform.com, quantumtradingnl.com, and thequantumaiapp.com).
Additionally, the FSMA strongly advises the public not to respond to offers from an extensive list of rogue platforms and unauthorized clone brokers. The entities added to the regulator's blacklist include 24Yield (Clone) (24yield.com), Accuro Group (Clone), Aptos (aptos-ai.com, webtrader.aptos-ai.co), Asterax (asterax.com, h5.asterax.vip, h5.asterax.top, asteraxcrypt.com), Avatradex / Avatrade (Clone) (avatradeshow.com, avatradegood.com), CM Prime (platform.cmcprime.co, cm-prime.co), Core-Invest (coreinv.net), Eurofingo (eurofingo.net), Fintelligence (fin-telligence.com, webtrader.fin-telligence.net), FlowBitEnergy (flowbitenergy.com), Galidix (galidix.com, trading-area.galidix-v5.com), Horizons28 (area.horizons28.net, Horizons28.com), Ikon-markets (ikon-markets.com), Imarketstrade (imarketstrade.org, imarketstrade.net), LuxNordic (Clone) (lux-nordic.com), Luxtious (luxtious.com), Millenium-Capital (milleniumbusiness-capitals.com), MS Global Finance, NewApexWay (newapexway.com), NOSW Exchange (hw-gold.com, noswexs.com), Pammdrex (pammdrex.com), Peak Rock Island (peakrockisland.com), PJPInvest (pjpinvest.com), Polkadot Heritage Limited (polkadotheritagelimited.com), PrimeUPartner (primeupartner.com), Quantiumax (quantiumax.com, quantiumax.net, webtrader.quantiumax.net, webtrader.quanti-max.agency), Rineplex (rineplex.com), SafeCrown (safecrown.net), Skifor (web.skifor.com), TitansBenefit (titansbenefit.com, titans-benefit.com, titansplan.com), UniSmartMove (unismartmove.com), and Zestrend (webtrader.zes2.com).
The FSMA outlined the typical trajectory of these scams. Fraudsters initially establish contact using deceptive online advertisements featuring unauthorized celebrity likenesses, social media pages, dating applications such as Tinder, Bumble, or Happn, unsolicited messages on WhatsApp and SMS, or referrals from acquaintances. Potential investors are enticed with fabricated guarantees of extraordinary returns well above standard market rates.
Once an investor registers, they are generally prompted to deposit an initial sum of approximately 250 euros. In some cases, scammers attempt to take remote control of the victim's computer under the guise of providing technical assistance, exposing victims to malware or unauthorized direct wire transfers. The platform dashboard displays fake trades and artificially inflated balances to simulate profit. Perpetrators then exert aggressive pressure via relentless calls and limited-time offers to coerce victims into depositing larger sums. Some platforms also incorporate pyramid-style referral mechanisms that eventually collapse.
When a victim attempts to withdraw their funds, the operation blocks all payout requests. Scammers routinely invent pretexts, demanding upfront payments for fabricated taxes, commissions, or insurance fees, before cutting off communication entirely and vanishing with the deposited funds.
For investors who have interacted with or deposited money into any of these platforms, the FSMA advises immediately stopping all payments and breaking off contact with the perpetrators. Victims should contact their financial institutions immediately to attempt recovery or block compromised accounts, file an official report with the police and regulatory authorities, and preserve all evidence, including transaction receipts, emails, and chat transcripts. Crucially, victims must stay vigilant against recovery room scams, where secondary fraudsters contact victims posing as recovery agents or legal representatives to demand fees under the false pretense of retrieving lost funds.
