The Belgian Financial Services and Markets Authority (FSMA) has issued an urgent warning regarding the ongoing proliferation of fraudulent online trading platforms. Scammers continue to target retail investors using enticing promises of rapid, low-risk profits, which ultimately lead to severe financial losses.
According to the FSMA, operators of these schemes rely on sophisticated onboarding and solicitation methods. Victims are frequently contacted through fake advertisements featuring celebrities, deceptive recruitment websites, fraudulent social media accounts, dating applications such as Tinder and Bumble, or unsolicited 'wrong number' messages sent via SMS, WhatsApp, and Telegram. Once initial interest is generated, investors are persuaded to deposit initial sums—often starting around 250 euros.
To facilitate the fraud, scammers frequently convince investors to grant remote screen access to their computers, claiming it is necessary to assist with account setup or transactions. In reality, this enables bad actors to install spyware or malicious tools. After victims fund their accounts, the platforms display fabricated trading profits. When victims attempt to withdraw their funds, the operators block access, invent unexpected taxes or withdrawal fees, or demand further deposits. The FSMA also noted that several platforms operate under pyramid-style models, which inevitably collapse once recruitment halts.
The regulator identified three key lead-generation and funnel websites funneling consumers into these fraudulent schemes:
- Financourse (financourse.com)
- Investhub 3.0 (investhub30.com)
- Quantum AI (quantumaiplatform.com, quantumtradingnl.com, thequantumaiapp.com)
In addition, the FSMA has officially blacklisted the following unauthorized trading platforms and clone firms:
- 24Yield (Clone) (24yield.com)
- Accuro Group (Clone)
- Aptos (aptos-ai.com, webtrader.aptos-ai.co)

The FSMA strongly advises investors who have engaged with any of these platforms to cease all payments immediately and sever contact with the operators. Victims should inform their financial institutions, file a formal complaint with local law enforcement and the FSMA, and preserve all evidence, including communication records and transaction confirmations. Investors should also beware of follow-up 'recovery room' scams, where fraudulent entities reach out offering to retrieve lost funds in exchange for an advance fee.
