The Financial Services and Markets Authority (FSMA) of Belgium has issued a public warning regarding the escalating dangers posed by fraudulent online trading platforms. These deceptive operators lure retail investors with promises of fast, easy profits, only to trap their capital in sophisticated investment schemes.
According to the regulatory watchdog, scammers deploy a variety of channels to make initial contact with potential victims. Tactics include deceptive celebrity-endorsed advertisements, recruitment websites, fake profiles on social media and dating apps like Tinder and Bumble, unsolicited messages via WhatsApp or SMS, and referrals from acquaintances promoting unrealistic high-yield returns. Often, the fraudsters convince victims to grant remote access to their computers or mobile devices under the guise of technical assistance, allowing them to install spyware or malicious software.
Once a victim deposits an initial sum—typically starting around 250 euros—the trading platform displays fabricated trading gains. Fraudsters then apply intense pressure through relentless phone calls, urgent limited-time offers, or explicit threats to extract larger sums of money. When investors attempt to withdraw their funds, the operators block the requests using pretexts such as bogus taxes, administrative fees, or additional deposit requirements. In some instances, platforms operate as pyramid schemes, using funds from new recruits to pay artificial returns until the entire scheme collapses and the operators vanish.
The FSMA has identified the following recruitment website that directs consumers to fraudulent platforms:
- Finance Legend (financelegend.org)
Additionally, the FSMA strongly advises the public against engaging with the following unauthorized trading platforms and clone entities:
- Aurudium (aurudium.com, webtrader.graftey-battex.com)
- BerryPAX (berrypax.com)
- Boosty Flow (boostyflow.com)

Investors who have interacted with or deposited money into these platforms are advised to immediately cease all communications, stop transferring funds, and contact their financial institutions. Victims should also file reports with local police and financial regulators while preserving all transaction records and communications. Furthermore, investors should remain vigilant against secondary recovery room scams, where fraudsters pose as asset recovery specialists demanding upfront fees to retrieve lost capital.
