The Financial Services and Markets Authority (FSMA) of Belgium has issued a public warning regarding two entities conducting unauthorized investment services: Aaron Venture Capital and Aurora Capital Venture. According to the regulatory authority, these platforms are operating irregularly and are suspected of acting as boiler rooms. The FSMA specifically flagged the websites operated by these firms: aaronventurecapital.com (associated with Aaron Venture Capital) and auroracapitalventure.com (associated with Aurora Capital Venture). Neither company is authorized to provide financial or investment services in Belgium. As a result, the FSMA strongly advises the public not to respond to any financial offers made by these entities and to avoid transferring funds to any bank accounts they provide. According to the FSMA, boiler room fraud typically involves operators contacting individuals without invitation—often through cold calling or unsolicited communications—to pitch shares or other financial products. Although these outfits frequently present themselves as authorized service providers with professional websites and paperwork, their offers are fictitious or completely worthless. In standard boiler room schemes, investors are initially lured with small investments that falsely appear to generate rapid profits. Victims are then pressured with persistent, high-pressure tactics to commit much larger sums. When victims attempt to retrieve their money, the entities make withdrawals impossible, demand additional payments or fees, or claim that new investments have suddenly suffered losses, ultimately resulting in the loss of all invested funds. The FSMA urges investors to thoroughly verify the identity, regulatory licensing, and registration of any firm offering financial services before committing funds. Consumers are also cautioned to be suspicious of unsolicited contact, guarantees of unusually high returns, and requests to transfer money to unrelated bank accounts, including overseas accounts. Anyone considering transactions with Aaron Venture Capital or Aurora Capital Venture is advised to exercise caution and consult regulatory warning lists.
