The Financial Services and Markets Authority (FSMA) of Belgium has issued a public warning regarding 18 unauthorized online lenders offering fraudulent credit services. Fraudsters are targeting consumers seeking additional financing by offering fake loans designed to extract upfront payments. According to the FSMA, these fraudulent operators reach victims through unsolicited emails, social media platforms such as Facebook and WhatsApp, or deceptive online advertisements. To build credibility, the operators claim to be registered credit intermediaries or authorized lenders, frequently copying the names and logos of legitimate credit institutions in clone firm scams. Victims are lured with unrealistically attractive loan conditions, such as substantial loan amounts, extremely low interest rates, and the absence of credit checks. Once an offer is accepted, the operators demand upfront payments disguised as administrative fees, file processing charges, authentication expenses, or insurance premiums to cover potential default. Once these advance fees are paid, the fraudsters cut contact, leaving victims without the promised credit and unable to recover their money. The FSMA has identified the following 18 unauthorized platforms: - Beauliard Groupe (www.beauliard-groupe.com) - BS Kredit (www.best-servicekredit.com) - Cash Lening (www.cashlening.com) - Finance Antalex (www.finance.antalex.net) - Finaura (www.finaura-group.com) - Kredit Inter (www.kredit-inter.com) - Laverdiesten (www.laverdiesten.com) - Lening Plus Krediet (www.leningplus.com) - LF Krediet Snel Groep (www.lfkredietsnelgroep.com) - Neovixunion (www.neovixunion.com) - Pirabk financieringsmaatschappij (www.pirabk.com) - Plus Finanzen (www.plusfinanzen.com) - Pret Collaboratif (www.prtcorporatif.com) - Snel Financiering financieringsmaatschappij (www.snelfinanciering.com) - Snellening (www.snellening.be) - Solidariteit Dienst Financien (www.solidariteit-dienstfinancien.com) - Swift Fundings (www.swiftfundings.com) - Universum Krediet (www.universumkredit.com) The regulator advises consumers to remain cautious regarding unsolicited loan offers, especially those featuring unusually favorable terms or requiring advance payments. Consumers should verify a company's authorization via the official FSMA register and research independent testimonials before transferring any funds. Suspicious entities should be reported directly to the regulator.
