Do not send money, disclose credentials, or use contact details supplied in an unsolicited message. Verify the organisation independently.
The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) has published an official warning against Shellnovatrade, cautioning investors that the entity is operating and promoting financial services without proper authorization.
According to the UK regulator, almost all firms and individuals offering, promoting, or selling financial services or products in the United Kingdom must be authorized or registered by the FCA. Shellnovatrade does not hold such authorization and is suspected of targeting UK residents illegally.
The firm operates through the website https://shellnovatrade.com and lists an address at 1200 Brickell Avenue, Suite 850, Florida, United States, alongside the contact email [email protected]. The FCA highlights that fraudulent and unauthorized entities often supply misleading or false contact information and may change their operational details periodically to evade detection.
Investors who engage with unauthorized brokers like Shellnovatrade face severe financial risks. Because the firm is not regulated by the FCA, clients will not have access to statutory protections, including the Financial Ombudsman Service for resolving disputes or the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS) to recover funds if the platform fails.
The FCA strongly urges the public to deal solely with authorized financial businesses and to verify platform credentials using the official Financial Services Register before investing funds. Anyone who has been approached by Shellnovatrade should refrain from sending money and report the activity to financial authorities.
