Do not send money, disclose credentials, or use contact details supplied in an unsolicited message. Verify the organisation independently.

The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) has warned that rmtradingltd.com is an unauthorised firm that may be targeting people in the UK. The regulator says the website may be providing or promoting financial services or products without its permission and advises consumers to avoid dealing with the firm. The warning names the website as https://rmtradingltd.com and also links to a Trustpilot review page for the business. The FCA cautions that unauthorised firms may use incorrect contact details or details belonging to another business or person, which can make them appear genuine. Consumers should not rely on contact information supplied by the firm to verify its identity. People who deal with an unauthorised firm cannot take a complaint to the Financial Ombudsman Service, and are not protected by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme if the firm fails. The FCA says people who sent money to a fraudster on or after 7 October 2024 may be covered by protections introduced by the Payment Systems Regulator, depending on the circumstances. Before investing or responding to an unexpected approach, consumers can check a firm and its permitted services using the FCA Firm Checker, and contact an authorised business through the details listed there. Anyone who believes they have been approached by an unauthorised firm can report it to the FCA on 0800 111 6768 or through the regulator’s contact form.
