The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) has issued an official warning regarding an entity operating under the name Pilotrade AI. According to the UK regulator, this platform has been offering or promoting financial services and products without obtaining the necessary regulatory authorisation.
Pilotrade AI conducts its online operations via the website www.pilottradeai.com. The FCA warns that the entity is actively targeting investors in the United Kingdom despite lacking the legal permission required to carry out regulated financial activities within the region.
Investors who engage with unauthorised brokers such as Pilotrade AI forfeit critical legal protections. Clients of this entity will not have access to the Financial Ombudsman Service in the event of a dispute, nor will they be covered by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS). Consequently, individuals risk losing their invested funds without recourse if the platform ceases operations or fails to honour withdrawal requests.
The FCA advises the public to exercise high caution and verify the credentials of any financial services provider through the official FCA Firm Checker. The regulator also notes that fraudulent operators frequently use false contact information or clone legitimate business details to appear authentic. Anyone who has interacted with or been approached by Pilotrade AI should report the encounter directly to the FCA.
