The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) has issued an official warning concerning an unauthorized entity operating under the name International Securities & Financial Compliance Authority. According to the UK regulator, fraudsters behind this entity are deliberately mimicking legitimate firm information to mislead consumers into believing they are dealing with an authorized financial organization. The clone operation has been observed using multiple websites, email addresses, and phone lines to engage potential victims. The FCA identified associated domains including shf-isfca.com, shf-ltd.com, and sec-holdings.org. Communications have also originated from the email addresses [email protected] and [email protected], as well as telephone numbers +441972222016 and +441690888031. Scammers frequently alter these contact channels and blend legitimate registration details with fake contact information to evade detection. The genuine firm being impersonated is SHF Compliance Limited, which holds FCA registration under Firm Reference Number 1008590 and is headquartered at 2 Adelaide Street, St Albans, AL3 5BH, United Kingdom. The FCA confirmed that the genuine authorized firm has no association whatsoever with the clone websites or the individuals operating them. Dealing with unauthorized clone entities carries substantial financial risks. Consumers transacting with such firms do not have access to the Financial Ombudsman Service for complaints, nor are they eligible for protection under the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS) should funds be lost. The regulator advises the public to independently verify any financial services firm against the official FCA Register using confirmed contact details before transferring any funds or sharing personal information. Suspected clone firms should be reported directly to regulatory authorities.
