The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) has warned that Eha Markets, which operates through ehamarkets.pro, is not authorised to provide or promote financial services in the UK and may be targeting UK consumers. The regulator advises people not to deal with the firm and to be alert to potential scams.
The FCA lists the firm as Eha Markets / ehamarkets.pro, with a stated address at 1 Canada Square, Canary Wharf, London, E14 5AB. The listed telephone number is +7027064466, and the website is www.ehamarkets.pro. The FCA cautions that unauthorised firms can provide contact details that are incorrect or belong to another business or individual, and that these details may change.
People who deal with an unauthorised firm will not have access to the Financial Ombudsman Service to complain about it and will not be protected by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme if the firm fails. The FCA says this makes it unlikely customers would recover their money if the firm goes out of business. For payments made to a scam account on or after 7 October 2024, protections introduced by the Payment Systems Regulator may apply.
Consumers can check a firm’s authorisation and permitted services using the FCA Firm Checker, and should use the contact details listed there if approached unexpectedly. Anyone who believes they have been contacted by an unauthorised firm can report it to the FCA by calling 0800 111 6768 or using the regulator’s contact form.
