The UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) has issued an official alert concerning Coinhub.pro, identifying it as an unauthorized clone firm operating in the financial services sector. Scammers behind this platform are falsely using the identity and credentials of a genuine, authorized firm to deceive investors into believing they are dealing with a legitimate enterprise. According to the FCA warning, the fraudulent entity operates via the website https://coinhub.pro/ and uses the email address [email protected]. Criminals operating clone websites often mix real regulatory information, such as Firm Reference Numbers and registered addresses, with their own contact details to build false trust with potential victims. The genuine firm being impersonated is The Financial Planning Hub Ltd, an FCA-authorized business with Firm Reference Number 743458. The genuine firm is based in Reading, United Kingdom, and operates using the email [email protected]. The regulator emphasized that the authorized business has no connection whatsoever with the fraudulent Coinhub.pro website. Consumers who deal with unauthorized entities like Coinhub.pro forfeit essential regulatory protections. Investors will not have access to the Financial Ombudsman Service for complaints and will not be covered by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS) in the event of financial loss. The FCA strongly advises the public to verify any firm's legitimacy through the official Financial Services Register before transferring funds or engaging in investment activities.
