The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) in the United Kingdom has issued a public warning against an unauthorised entity known as BTC Invest. This firm has been identified as offering and promoting financial products and services without the required regulatory authorization.
According to the regulatory alert, BTC Invest operates across several web domains, including dtags.uk, fdinvestmentsapy.com/?#/My, and fdinvestmentsapo.com. The FCA warns that the entity is targeting individuals in the UK without holding regulatory approval to conduct financial operations in the region.
Regulators frequently caution that unauthorised firms may provide misleading contact details or falsify corporate identities to appear legitimate. Investors engaging with unregulated firms face severe risks, as they are not covered by the Financial Ombudsman Service or the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS). Consequently, individuals who suffer financial losses or face issues such as denied withdrawals are unlikely to recover their funds through official dispute mechanisms.
The FCA advises members of the public to exercise extreme caution and verify any financial provider via official regulatory registries before committing funds. Anyone who has been approached by BTC Invest or its related platforms is encouraged to contact regulatory authorities.
