FCA Launches Enforcement Investigation into Market Financial Solutions Limited

The UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) has confirmed that it has opened an formal enforcement investigation into Market Financial Solutions Limited (MFS).
According to the regulatory statement, MFS is classified as an Annex 1 business. Under this designation, the firm is solely registered with and supervised by the FCA for its compliance with the Money Laundering, Terrorist Financing and Transfer of Funds (Information on the Payer) Regulations 2017.
The regulator clarified that firms registered under Annex 1 are not fully authorized by the FCA and are not subject to wider FCA regulatory protections or supervision.
Additionally, the FCA noted that Market Financial Solutions Limited entered administration on 25 February 2026. Consumers and market participants should exercise caution when dealing with unauthorized entities and verify the regulatory permissions of any financial services firm via official regulatory registers.
