CySEC Issues Tender for External Experts to Assess Licensing Applications and Monitor Regulated Entities

The Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC) has announced a public tender for the provision of expert services to assist in the evaluation of authorization applications and the monitoring of material changes across regulated financial entities. The scope of the procurement covers application assessments for a broad range of supervised market participants. These include Cyprus Investment Firms (CIFs), Administrative Service Providers (ASPs), Crypto-Asset Service Providers (CASPs), Alternative Investment Fund Managers (AIFMs), UCITS Management Companies, and Crowdfunding Platforms, among other investment vehicles and fund structures. In addition to licensing assessments, the contracted experts will support the regulator in reviewing the registration of Registered Alternative Investment Funds (RAIFs) and evaluating substantial organizational and operational changes submitted by existing regulated entities. The tender initiative reflects CySEC's ongoing efforts to maintain robust oversight standards and streamline processing times for financial market authorizations within its regulatory framework.
