The CFTC Division of Market Oversight has issued an extension of no-action relief regarding Part 45 swap reporting obligations for counterparties clearing through Relief DCOs.

The Commodity Futures Trading Commission’s (CFTC) Division of Market Oversight (DMO) has issued a no-action letter extending regulatory relief related to swap reporting requirements under Part 45 of the CFTC's regulations. The letter extends the no-action position previously established in CFTC Staff Letter No. 22-18. The relief applies specifically to counterparties clearing swaps through derivatives clearing organizations (DCOs) that operate pursuant to a CFTC exemptive order or a no-action letter issued by the CFTC Division of Clearing and Risk, known as Relief DCOs.
