The Commodity Futures Trading Commission has officially designated Xchange Alpha LLC as a designated contract market under the Commodity Exchange Act.

The Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) has announced the issuance of an order designating Xchange Alpha LLC as a designated contract market (DCM) under Section 5 of the Commodity Exchange Act (CEA). Xchange Alpha is registered in Delaware and operates its headquarters in Scottsdale, Arizona. Following a review of the application, the federal regulator determined that the entity demonstrated its capacity to adhere to all statutory requirements under the CEA and associated CFTC regulations applicable to DCM entities. Under the terms and conditions outlined in the designation order, Xchange Alpha is obligated to maintain continuous compliance with all relevant provisions of the CEA and applicable CFTC regulatory frameworks. The CFTC maintains an active public registry of all approved DCMs as well as entities with pending registration applications.
