The Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) has announced the appointment of Rahul Varma as the Acting Director of its Division of Market Oversight (DMO).
The leadership appointment was announced by CFTC Acting Chairman Caroline D. Pham, who highlighted Varma's decade-plus tenure and expertise across derivatives markets.
"Rahul has ably served the CFTC for more than a decade and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to this new role," said Acting Chairman Pham. "I thank Rahul for his continued leadership in DMO."
