The Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) has announced that the Agricultural Advisory Committee (AAC) will convene for its first meeting of 2026 on July 29 at 1:00 PM EST. The meeting, sponsored by CFTC Chairman Michael S. Selig, will take place at the CFTC Headquarters located at Three Lafayette Centre, 1155 21st Street, NW, Washington, D.C. Established in 1985, the Agricultural Advisory Committee serves to advise the Commission on matters concerning the trading of agricultural commodity futures and options. It also facilitates direct communication between the CFTC, the agricultural community, and agriculture-related organizations. The session is open to the public and will be streamed live via the CFTC official website. Remote participants can also access the meeting via telephone and webinar options.
